Using Credits for Centre-Based Courses
Credit package holding schools may use their credits in order to purchase places on EIS Central CPD Courses. A half day course will cost 1.5 credits (EIS Subscribers) or 2 credits (Non EIS Subscribers) and full day 2.5 credits (EIS Subscribers) or 3 credits (Non EIS Subscribers).
The table below shows course fees for subscribing and non-subscribing schools.
|Credit Package Holders||EIS Subscribers||Pay as you Go|
|Part-day||1.5 Credits (EIS Subscribers) or 2 Credits (Non EIS Subscribers)||£64||£100|
|Full-day||2.5 Credits (EIS Subscribers) or 3 Credits (Non EIS Subscribers)||£108||£150|
At the start of each half term subscribing schools will receive an updated report showing their use of credits to that point. The report will include:
- the nature of sessions already received
- those booked for the forthcoming term(s)
- the balance of credits yet to be assigned
This will enable schools to plan for future school-based developments and also ensure that they make the most effective use of credits. Non -subscribing schools will receive a similar report outlining school-based sessions received or yet to receive but indicating the costs involved.
If you wish to purchase a credit package please contact the CPD Team on 01743 254458.
