Hello, Guest

Inspire to Learn CPD Training Directory 2018/19

We are very pleased to share the Autumn term update of Inspire to Learn's CPD Training Directory for 2018/19.  This directory co-ordinates all of the training and development opportunities across Shropshire Council’s education support services for the current financial year.  It provides a one stop shop and consistent approach for the securing of centre-based, school-based and bespoke training and development for all staff - teaching and non-teaching - as well as school governors.  All new development opportunities that have been added since the last edition of the CPD Directory have been highlighted with a ‘NEW’ indicator.

Schools are being encouraged to procure a package of training Credits that can be used flexibly across the vast majority of development opportunities and realise significant savings as a consequence.  However, the option to ‘Pay-as-you-Go’ is also available.

A proforma is is available on this page for schools to indicate what credit package they would like to procure, or alternatively you have the option to select your chosen credit package on your main SLA proforma for 2018/19, which is already in school.  Please note that schools will be free to upgrade their Credit package at any point in the year should they find that they have used up their initial Credit allocation.  Further savings are available for clusters of 3 or more schools.  A form is also available on this page for booking places on centre-based training courses.

We have worked hard to showcase all of the development opportunities currently available.  However, if you have a specific training need that is not covered, or have any queries regarding the CPD programme, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Also available on this page for your information, are the phase specific CPD posters from the Education Improvement Service, and also the Primary and Secondary posters from Shropshire Teaching School Alliances, which detail their Autumn term 2018 CPD programmes.

We look forward to working with you and your staff and governors over the next year.
