How do a book a place on a course or conference?

To book your place, please contact the CPD Team on 01743 254570 or email quoting the event code, title and date of the conference you would like to attend. 

How do I pay for a course or conference?

You will receive an invoice after the training event has taken place. 

Can I use Shropshire EIS credits to pay for a conference booking?

No, credits cannot be used to pay for attendance at a conference.

Is lunch included at a conference?

Lunch and refreshments are included in the day delgate rate at Shropshire Local Authority conferences. (unless stated on the conference flyer)

When booking please advise the CPD team of any dietary requirements.  

Cancellation Policy

Please note from 1 April 2017 there will be a new cancellation policy for bookings on CPD courses

For cancellations received:

  • 6 weeks (30 working days) or more prior to the start date - cancellation will be free of charge;
  • Between 6 weeks and 2 weeks (10 working days) prior to the start date - a cancellation charge of 50% of the fee will apply;
  • Cancellations received after this point, or at any stage during the training programme (for multiple sessions), a cancellation charge of 100% of the fee will apply; 

Please note that this cancellation policy will also apply to non-subscribing schools for late cancellation/non-attendance at termly subject/aspect network meetings.
