Outshine

Outshine has been developed as a direct result of the SEND & AP Change Programme from the Department of Education.

The objectives of Outshine include:

• building capacity and earlier intervention approaches with a focus on bespoke and appropriate support for students to be successful in, and sustain their place, in mainstream schools.
• reducing exclusions and suspensions whilst supporting the integration of excluded pupils back into 
  mainstream schools
• developing the use of high-quality short term or curriculum based off-site AP provision to meet the geographical challenges of Shropshire

Outshine understands that many of our learners have complex and significant inclusion challenges and wish to work with schools to overcome these collaboratively.

We ask that all children and young people, who are identified as requiring support around the above, are referred into the Outshine service using the dedicated form below - this referral does require written consent from parents/carers or guardians of the CYP. 

Referrals are triaged each Tuesday and a bespoke response will be sent within 5 working days.

 

All submissions for Outshine referrals must be made via referral and consent form below.
