What Red George offers:

We are a unique learning environment, providing flexible practical opportunities in animal and land based studies. Our pupil centred provision aims to inspire, engage and enable young people to achieve.

Young people have the opportunity to experience a range of practical skills:

Animal Care

Develop responsibility, patience, empathy and confidence while caring for our animals.

Rural Skills

Learn practical skills including maintenance, construction, teamwork and problem-solving.

Horticulture

Build knowledge, independence and wellbeing through growing plants and working outdoors.

Qualifications

Gain recognition through ASDAN awards and certificates of achievement.

Referral to Red George is mainly through - Local Authority SEND teams, Schools & Social Care.

Referral process:

1. Referring agency completes and returns the referral form below. 
2. An informal visit for the young person, parents/carers and/or teachers will then be arranged .
3. If the young person would like to attend and we can meet their needs a suitable day and time to attend will be arranged when space is available.
