Preparing for your next Ofsted inspection
The Quality Improvement Learning Co-ordinator will arrange a telephone call, to offer support and advice regarding your Ofsted inspection if you are:
- recently registered as a new provider on the Early Years Register and will therefore be inspected within 30 months of your registrataion date. From April 2026, newly registered providers will be inspected between 12 - 18 months after their registration visit.
- expecting your Ofsted inspection within the next 6 months and within the 6-year window after your previous inspection. From April 2026, this window will reduce to a 4-year window following your previous inspection.

Support following an Ofsted inspection
From November 2025 should you receive one of the following grades in any of the areas identified in the Early Years Inspection Tool Kit Early years inspection toolkit a member of the Early Years' Team will contact you to offer you advice and support.

| Needs attention | 2 face-to-face visits and 2 online Teams' meetings / phone calls |
| Urgent improvement | 3 face-to-face visits and 3 online Teams' meetings / phone calls |
If you receive a grading for Safeguarding of 'Not met' Early years inspection toolkit Charlotte Percival (Safeguarding Officer for Early Years) will contact you to offer you advice and support.
